Join us for one event or for the entire weekend!
Parking will be in the back field and pasture. Stalls are not required HOWEVER, please use courtesy and do not let your horse paw, and if you have a portable corral, please move it around so they don't destroy one patch of grassy area. There is one time weekend camping fee of $20. We have 14 Panel stalls available for $10 per night. No shavings available but you may provide your own. Water is available.
There is a 72'x120' indoor arena available for warm up. Please do not ride down the barn alley, use the big door if you would like to ride in and out of the arena. Please make sure before mounting up that all Liability and Helmet waivers are signed for the property.
The Obstacle course is Outdoors on the farm, so be prepared for weather. It is a built in Obstacle Course, and we will pick 12 obstacles for the Riding Portion of the challenge and 12 for the In Hand Portion. Obstacles will be a mix of natural and creative, and will be good for all levels of horses. At Obstacle Challenges you ARE allowed to bring multiple horses, as we don't have the same limitations as a Trail Challenge would have with that.
The trail will be set on 6-7 miles of nice trails, there is a great mix of scenery, and trail, but all is fun and safe for young riders and young horses. The obstacles will be mostly Natural Obstacles. Due to parking restrictions at the trail head, we will be camping at the farm and driving to the trail head, and meeting at the trail for the competition. If you come in the night before, and set up camp, we will have a trailer set up to carpool up to the trail head and back if desired, so you don't have to take your camp down for the event.
There will be pastries and coffee during sign-in. There will be no lunch provided but we do have a potluck on Saturday Afternoon so make sure to bring something to share. There is also hot water and a microwave in the barn office.
This is a Series and there will be a High Point Award for the Victory Acres Farm Series. High Point Awards will be announced soon.
Day awards are Ribbons to 6th place in all three divisions.
If you would like to practice on the course after the challenge on Sunday, it is a $10 practice fee, unlimited time. (Discounted from $20 regular price)
